The client required a secure password protected site that provided areas for public access, confidential client areas and group areas that would allow collaboration between members of those groups, but not allow group members access to each client area unless they were authorised access by the site manager.
This allows private discussions to take place between the manager and the clients and general discussions between the manager and group members where appropriate.
The site also needed to provide Case Tracking with time stamping and status updates and all posts able to be notified by automated email to the participants on a selective basis.
In addition the site had to provide for file uploads and a Dashboard overview for each user and group and the manager to keep on top of what information is current and needs action - showing new entries with a graphic flag for easy visual identification.
